About CIASTD

Founded in 1944, ASTD is the world's premier professional association and leading resource on workplace learning and performance issues.

The local chapter CIASTD meets monthly with valuable programs geared to individuals in the field wishing to enhance their professional skills.

We invite you to join our local chapter of CIASTD. By joining more than 450 training, performance improvement and human resource development professionals, you receive the following benefits:

• Career Development provides job referral services to employers and active members.
• Membership Directory published online monthy listing members alphabetically with their titles, organizations, addresses, and phone numbers. This is available to members only through individual passwords.
• Job Bank is available to members to post and review current job openings. Members who are seeking employment can also post their resumes.
• Newsletter published online with articles on current training or performance improvement topics, Chapter meetings, features from the President, and advertising support.
• Monthly Programs provide the opportunity to learn about topics targeted to the interests of members and guests along with networking.
• Special Interest Groups formed to meet specific needs of members sharing common interests.
• Online Resource Guide tracks names of members who are self-employed contractors/consultants including their various areas of expertise. Members can be included on the database for a fee.
• CIASTD Web Site providing online access of membership, programs, consultants, the board, and committees. You can also register for programs securely online.
